קדימה — Forward
Forward is a direction, not a destination — and healing unfolds along the way.
Life is constantly inviting you on a journey forward — to heal, to grow, to repair, to reconnect, to become who you were created to be.
But it’s hard to move forward when you’re carrying years of stress, trauma, grief, people-pleasing, or long-established survival patterns.
I’m Chaya Parkoff, LCSW,
trauma therapist, Brainspotting practitioner, coach, speaker, author, and Torah educator.
I help people travel lighter — dropping emotional checked baggage and walking forward with clarity, compassion, courage, and nervous-system calm.
Who I Work With
-
Motherhood tests every part of us — our nervous systems, our boundaries, our stories, and the parts of ourselves we thought we had already healed.
I help moms release old patterns, regulate more easily, and parent from presence rather than pressure. Your healing becomes the safest place your children can land.
-
Couples (Newlyweds, Long-Term, and Launched-Nest Couples)
I help couples communicate, regulate, repair, and reconnect without reactivity or baggage.
-
This stage is full of pressure and transition.
We process what’s holding you back, build skills, and cultivate emotional resilience.
-
I work with clients in 12-Step recovery — people who have done meaningful spiritual work but still carry trauma the steps weren’t designed to treat.
I help bridge that space: honoring the program while healing the “outside issues” that keep you stuck. -
I also work with men, groups, and non-Jewish clients drawn to this science-backed, soul-driven approach.
-
I work with teams and organizations to strengthen communication, reduce reactivity, and build emotionally intelligent, resilient workplace cultures.
Kadima Therapy & Coaching
Kadima means forward — not perfectly, not quickly, just forward.
“בדרך שאדם רוצה לילך—בה מוליכין אותו
– In the way a person wants to go, they are led.”
Soul-driven + science-backed
My work integrates cutting-edge neuroscience, somatic healing, and ancient Jewish wisdom so all parts of you can move in the same direction — Kadima, forward.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting is a cutting-edge neuroexperiential modality that reaches the parts of the brain and body where trauma, emotional pain, and stuck patterns live — beneath talk therapy.
It releases emotional blocks, processes trauma gently, calms the nervous system, and creates space for expansion into your best self.
